Chasing the Halo

In the work, the bodies of the world, the tonal passages, the definitions of all kinds, the common places, the visual support point, the horizons, the recognizable are left aside. It is then that the stain reigns over appearances and returns to us the spirit of strangeness that we have forgotten so much, and in that spectral sweep the modern eye will seek recognition at all costs, a reality to welcome, a direction that justifies each step of that movement. . There should be so much there that I wish I could dissolve the definition of my senses, and return to the soft unrecognizable stain, which does not transgress and does not place itself. A body of clarity that surrounds all acts with silence, and it will be possible for me to shoot images that meet and undo in the trance that my lens sensor seeks, a simple reflection, that out there feels like just a mirage.
After contrasting all paths and saturating all textures,
we have no choice but to move away from photography itself.
